The international IUM International Online Creative Makeup Competition open to makeup artists from all over the world. You’ll be judged on one thing – your work.  The 2023 competition closing for entries on November 5, 2023 12.00 PM (UTC). Winners will be announced in November 6, 2023 .

How to apply:

You need to send two  high quality retouch and filter free photo to info@iumhe.se until November 5, 2023, 12.00 PM. use our application form below.

Photo Requirements:

• Photos must be in JPG or PNG format.

• Photos must be original and unedited.

- 1st picture close up

- 2nd picture DOWN TO SHOULDER OR HALF BODY

- 3rd model and artist together

- Short Introduction of your inspiration

Rules:

The following is a list of THINGS ALLOWED in this category: 

• False eyelashes

• contact lenses

• Glitter, Crystals, Feathers

• Wigs or headpieces

• Decoration accessories on the head and shoulders

• All decorations on a glue base should take no more than 20% of the face.

 

 

The following is a list of things NOT ALLOWED in this category:

• To use any prosthetics or latex based items

• Masks, mask pieces or other special effects.

• Glasses

• Airbrush and stencils

• Any material that obscures more than 20% of the face.         

 

 Judging criteria:

The Jury pays attention to the following points:

• Use of color, technical expertise and degree of difficulty

• Originality

• Interpretation of the theme, outline, artist´s approach, completeness and inspiration. The competition theme is open for the competitor to create whatever their imagination holds. ​

• Final result (including styling)

Clauses:

• Scoring information is confidential and proprietary and will not be released. Decisions of the judges are final.​

​

• Submit completed registration entry form with photos and video to enter by the required deadline. ​

​

• By entering  ium creative makeup competition, participants accept and agree to be bound by these Official Rules. Any violation of these rules may,  result in disqualification. All decisions of the judges regarding this competition are final and binding in all respects.

​

• All makeup must be done by the registered competitor.

​

• All models and competitors WITH THE APPLICATION automatically sign a release giving permission for photos and videos to be used by "IUM for International Union for Makeup and Hairstylist Education" for marketing purposes  without written permission.

​

• Participants should further agree to extend publishing rights to the “ium", whereby their photos and videos will be published at a later date determined by the “ium creative makeup competition”.​

​

• Participants And models must be at least 18 years of age or a signed release form from the guardian is required.​

​

• Models understand that no monetary compensation will be given for the participation.​

​

• Participant agrees that All the decisions of the judges are final.​

​

• Registration Fee is non-refundable.
